Shepherding is a traditional and historic role that takes great skill and patience. Watch in awe as Neil Ross from 'One Man and His Dog' at Leault Farm Kincraig (6 miles from Newtonmore) works with his dogs. See demonstrations, sheep shearing the old fashioned way, come face to face with Highland cows, meet friendly Collies and get helpful dog training tips to take home.

Highland Horse Fun based in Kingussie the centre has a Wild West theme with easy access to excellent hacking and riding. Offering rides that are sustainable for absolute beginners to those wishing to do Trail Rides in true Rough Highland Country. Adventures on horseback offering beautiful countryside rides through the Alvie Estate, which is part of the Cairngorm National Park. This outdoor centre in Kincraig in the Highlands of Scotland offers a great variety of activities for a fun family day out or a place to just relax and enjoy the stunning scenery. You can take part in sail sports, paddle sport, raft building, fishing, rowing and pedalos on the loch. Activities off the water include archery, play parks and a 60 metre dry ski slope. There are also many walking and mountain biking opportunities in the area to enjoy or board the wildlife cruises and let the experts acquaint you with all of Loch Insh’s wildlife including the spectacular ospreys.
